GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
MAISON 1822 – BC Global Trade Import Export SASU
ARTICLE 1 – LEGAL INFORMATION

ARTICLE 2 – PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF APPLICATION
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) govern all sales of wines and similar products concluded on the maison1822.com website between BC Global Trade Import Export SASU ("the Seller") and any adult natural person ("the Customer") making a purchase for personal consumption, excluding any professional resale activity, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
ARTICLE 3 – AGE VERIFICATION AND ALCOHOL SALES
In accordance with French legislation, the sale of alcohol is strictly prohibited to minors. By placing an order, the Customer certifies that they are at least 18 years old. The Seller reserves the right to request proof of age upon delivery and to refuse delivery in case of doubt or refusal to provide justification.
ALCOHOL ABUSE IS DANGEROUS FOR YOUR HEALTH, CONSUME WITH MODERATION.
ARTICLE 4 – PRODUCTS AND AVAILABILITY
The wines offered are described with the utmost care (vintage, appellation, grape varieties, tasting notes). As these are natural products and vintages in limited quantities, availability may vary; in case of out of stock after ordering, the Customer will be informed within 48 hours and will be refunded or offered an equivalent alternative.
ARTICLE 5 – PRICE
Prices are indicated in euros, all taxes included (French VAT included), excluding delivery costs which are specified before order validation. The Seller reserves the right to modify its prices at any time, products being invoiced based on the rates in force at the time of order validation.
ARTICLE 6 – ORDER AND PAYMENT
The order is validated after full payment confirmation by credit card or any other means offered on the site. The Seller confirms the order by email. The sales contract is concluded upon receipt of this confirmation.
ARTICLE 7 – DELIVERY
Deliveries are made to the address indicated by the Customer when ordering, in mainland France and internationally (particularly Brazil, subject to local customs regulations). The indicated times are given as an indication. The transfer of risks occurs upon delivery of the product to the carrier, unless otherwise provided by law applicable to consumers.
ARTICLE 8 – RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
In accordance with articles L221-18 et seq. of the Consumer Code, the Customer has a period of 14 days from receipt of the product to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to give any reason. Return costs are the responsibility of the Customer. Products must be returned intact, unopened, and in their original packaging. ARTICLE 9 – LEGAL GUARANTEES
The Customer benefits from the legal guarantee of conformity (articles L217-3 et seq. of the Consumer Code) and the guarantee against hidden defects (articles 1641 et seq. of the Civil Code).
ARTICLE 10 – PERSONAL DATA

ARTICLE 11 – CONSUMER MEDIATION
