Corinne Depeyre Estate

History

Family estate located in Tulette, in Drôme Provençale, whose first stones of the farmhouse were laid by great-grandfather Clément and then consolidated by grandfather Henri. The land, then passed on to Corinne's father, Gérard, who had already converted it to organic farming, was taken over by Corinne Depeyre in 2015. After studying oenology and commerce and a career as a winegrower, she changed course at 30 to found her own estate on part of the family heritage — becoming the first winemaker in the family.

Domaine located in Tulette, in the heart of the Drôme Provençale, in the Côtes du Rhône appellation. The estate covers approximately 19 to 20 hectares, conducted entirely in certified organic farming. Corinne Depeyre develops a production that she describes as feminine, oriented towards freshness and aromatic complexity.

The Vineyard

Cultivated grape varieties: Syrah, Grenache and Carignan mainly (also Mourvedre, Viognier, Clairette and Roussanne according to the cuvées), on a clay-limestone terroir covered with rolled pebbles. Practices promoting biodiversity: cultivation of phacelia between rows to naturally regenerate soils, planting of roses at the end of rows as early indicators of diseases (powdery mildew), plot intentionally left untouched in biodiversity reserve, and agroforestry project with planting of several hundred tree species and shrubs.

Certifications

Certified organic farming. AOC Côtes du Rhône and IGP Méditerranée. Wines that have won medals in several competitions (including the Guide Hachette des Vins).
